Shoshanna Hamburg is a seasoned Massage Therapist with over 34 years of diverse holistic healing experience. Her initial training began in 1989 with a comprehensive 1000-hour holistic program at The New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has expanded her repertoire beyond Certified Massage Therapist to Massage Therapy Instructor, Bodywork Educator & Ayurvedic Practitioner. Her early spa work experience took place in the dynamic environment of the mountain spa Ten Thousand Waves in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she was a Spa and Watsu therapist for many years.
Her advanced continuing education include Neuromuscular and Connective Tissue work, as well as, the study of Homeopathy, Ayurveda, and Ayurvedic Bodywork. For many years she has pursued Ayurvedic training with many excellent teachers. She offers training in Ayurvedic Bodywork and Hot Stone Therapy as continuing education workshops and her private practice has an emphasis on bodywork that is deeply influenced by the ancient holistic principles of Ayurveda.
Her love of exotic lands, cultures, and esoteric teachings has taken her on many travel adventures around the world. She now makes her home in Chapel Hill, NC. All of this diverse and extensive “hands-on” and teaching experience along with her passion for Restorative healing work is brought to her clients and students alike.
