Brn 390x465Dr. Dean is a physician/surgeon who retired from his private practice of urology in 2011.  His current interest is to marry the currently practiced matter science medical discipline with the more contemporary energy science medical discipline of Ayurveda.

He received his medical training from University of Nebraska and in the last 20 years of his career he has actively integrated the energy science of Ayurveda into his practice. Currently he does online consulting for those interested in looking at health in a new way. He also is teaching Ayurveda as a healing discipline at Bastyr University in Seattle.

Dr. Bill completed the two year training with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque NM.  Outside of India the Institute is considered the Harvard of Ayurvedic medicine in the world. This has led to his first book explaining Ayurveda as an energy science, Foods Heal: Why Certain Foods Help You Feel Your Best.

In 2014 he released his second book, IC Bladder Pain Syndrome: The Alternative Medical Treatment for Interstitial Cystitis, on the clinical use of the energy science in managing interstitial cystitis, a condition that allopathic medicine has only temporary solutions for.  www.drbilldean.com
